Ruth Furman is a photographer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, CA. She is a graduate from Colorado State University with a B.A. in Journalism & Media Communications.
She creates commercial, narrative, and documentarian work that authentically explores the human experience, femininity, nostalgia, and coming of age. Her work includes bold color palettes and hints of surrealism.
Her photographs were shown in Sab Gallery, and she has created music videos for artists like Michal Menert of Pretty Lights.
Her documentary short, "The Route-setters" (2022), was featured on Rocky Mountain PBS.
